Analysis of manufacturing industry in South Bohemia region

This paper will examine the economic and geographical analysis of companies in the manufacturing industry, located in the South Bohemia region. The theoretical concept chosen to examine this paper will be the Global Production Networks (GPN). This is used for the comparison of states and firms in the world economy. A decision was made to select a quantitative approach of studying selected GPNs. The subject area is to, analyse the economic activity and their results of 11 groups of companies according to their position in the GPN in reference to their hierarchy, ownership, function and size. Three data indicators will be used to support this analysis, Returns on Assets (ROA), Wages to Turnover (WTT) and Capital Expenditures to Turnover (CTT). This paper will find out which company type produces the best results and which can positively affect local development. This paper will also explore if there is any pattern on location, company category and its economical results. Demographic aging and its economic consequences in EU

This bachelor thesis contains information about demographic aging in EU countries and its economic impacts. The theoretical part describes the basic concepts of demography, population development and the current situation across the EU. The thesis contains the information from the official Eurostat website and contains data of the demographic aging for the EU countries for the period 1997-2017 and the forecast for 2050-2080. The final part of the thesis gives an answer to the hypotheses about the economic structure and the pension system.

Analysis of economic structure in selected regions

The thesis deals with the analysis of Nachod and Tachov regions' economic structure. The aim of this work is to discover the range and character of differences between these regional economic structures within a national innovation system. Regions showing approximately similar vertical geographic position were chosen for the analysis deliberately, however they differ in various actualities, such as, for instance, their position in terms of west-east gradient, or more precisely horizontal geographic position. Based on the analysis of the relationship between the suppliers and consumers, manufacturing programmes, and not least ownership structures, the basic typology of the economic subjects from the manufacturing industry was executed. The results of this analysis point out significant dependence of the Tachov region on the activities of foreign investors and underdeveloped entrepreneurial environment. Nachod region reports, in the interregional comparison, better results in assessing the economic structure and features clearly more endogenous regional development than Tachov region. The influence of an organizational structure on an economic structure

The goal of the diploma thesis is to analyse the influence of an organizational structure on an economic structure of an organization. The theoretical part summarises basic features of responsibility accounting and tries to find out whether the economic structure is determined only by the organizational structure or by more features. The case of a change of the particular company´s organizational structure proves the influence of the organizational structure on the economic structure in practical part.

Financial responsibility management of divisionalized companies

An opening part of the thesis explains the role of responsibility accounting within overall management control system of a company. Individual chapters are focused on the key specific aspects of businesses with a divisionalized organizational structure. A description of principal characteristics related to this type of an organizational structure is followed by a detailed explanation of various types of responsibility centers. A subsequent chapter deals with bookkeeping aspects of responsibility accounting as well as with transfer prices. A theoretical part is concluded after a comprehensive analysis of a characteristic features related to responsibility centers' financial management on different levels of a corporate's hierarchy. An application part of the thesis is based on an assessment of responsibility accounting environment within a chosen responsibility center inside a real divisionalized corporation.

Vybrané demografické a socioekonomické ukazatele města Prahy

This thesis evaluates the demographic and socio-economic situation of the city of Prague through several indicators analyzed over a period of at least twelve years. The indicators relate to the age structure of Prague population and demographic aging, economic activity and structure and immigration of foreigners into the city of Prague. Their development is compared with the Czech Republic as a whole and with selected Prague districts. Their further development in future years is also predicted, based on the time series method and equalization through adequate trend function. Finally the thesis provides a summary of the results and proposes possible measures to improve the situation in Prague in those areas that have proved problematic.

The Responsibility Accounting in a Specific Company

The thesis focuses on the topic of responsibility management and the use of its methods in a specific company. It is focused on the process of dividing a company into individual responsibility centres accompanied by their description and the application of reponsibility management. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the responsibility accounting and mainly with the creation of the organizational structure, follow-up economic structure and motivational effect of indicators measuring performance of the centers. The second part introduces a specific analyzed company and a new arrangement of centers with organizational and economic consequences is suggested.

Design of management accounting system for SINEKO Engineering s.r.o.

The objective of the thesis is to design a management accounting system for a manufacturing company operating in the construction industry. As part of the proposed system new economic and cost structure will be created and described. Furthermore, the principles of valuation of internally transfered outputs will be based on a new system of transfer prices which will help to set up an internal profit and loss analysis for each cost center. Last part of the thesis is dedicated to problematics of calculation in which cost allocation principles will be described and displayed in a form of a custom made calculation formula.

The Debt Crisis in the Euro Area

This diploma thesis deals with the debt crisis in the Euro Area. Thesis describes debt crisis in the eurozone in general and then crises in five most affected states - Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain. In addition there will be compared economic structures and macroeconomic indicators of two selected euro area countries - Spain and Italy. Thesis also contains a chapter in which opinions are expressed by several international and Czech economists. Opinions of economists in the world on the causes, consequences and possible solutions to the crisis are often diverge.

Tyto postupy jsou pak uplatněny na konkrétním souboru pracovníků ZPA Pečky, a. s.
